A Little More About PNWFC’s I’m Local! Campaign
You might see the I’m Local! Campaign posters at fiber festivals and events across the PNW, but vendors do not have to be members of PNWFC to be a part of this movement - the more hands on LOCAL fiber, the better! That’s why the I’m Local! Campaign is for everyone.
Part of our mission at PNW Fiber Connect is to revitalize a robust and accessible fiber economy. There are many ways in which the PNWFC team will work to meet our mission and one of them is the I’m Local! Campaign — a regional economic effort to add value to locally sourced & made products and reinvigorate (and sometimes start) the circular supply-chain conversation.
The I’m Local! Campaign came to be based on the some of the needs & ideas of PNWFC’s core group of founding members. They wanted to connect their consumers with the story behind their products and worked with PNWFC cofounder Kristen to create the I’m Local! signage in order to share, lift up, and inspire the work and passion that goes into PNW sustainable fiber business practices.
The I’m Local! Campaign is about collaboration and mutual support. It’s about transparent and honest business practices. It’s about empowering businesses to be the change they want to see in the world.
We at PNW Fiber Connect believe the more hands on LOCAL fiber, the better! That’s why the I’m Local! Campaign is for everyone.
