Fiber Business Development

PNWFC will support resilient business infrastructure capable of supporting an accessible and sustainable natural fiber economy, from ‘soil to shearing to sewing’.

An economy is a system for producing, distributing, and consuming goods and services; thus, a fiber economy refers to fiber production, processing, and commerce that brings our beloved natural fiber commodities and skillsets from a knowledge-keeper to you.

Our regional fiber community has shown amazing resilience and creativity when facing challenges owed to an underrepresented industry and PNWFC wants to uplift that collective ethos by increasing our members visibility and encouraging positive change on the infrastructural level that benefits not only our members, but the greater community and ecosystems that sustain us.

PNWFC seeks to grow and strengthen the capacity of regional fiber economies through diverse program offerings such as a Business Accelerator Program, ongoing info sessions, and workshops geared toward growing Fiber Professionals.

We are for making PNW natural fiber work.
